Bill Carbonneau, CFA
President
As president and founder Bill brings extensive senior management experience to Hybridge. He has been closely involved with the discretionary investment management industry since 1977. Immediately prior to founding Hybridge Bill was Director, Investment Management for CIBC Trust, where he was entrusted with the responsibility of building and overseeing the institution’s discretionary investment management service in British Columbia. Previous experience includes both senior management and senior portfolio management posts with Royal Trust. Bill has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a CFA charterholder.
Mark Fitzgerald, CFA
Vice-President, Investments
Mark began his investment career in 1976 as a portfolio manager with Royal Trust. He assumed progressively senior positions within their Private Client division. In 1989, Mark relocated to Vancouver as Director, Western Canada, Private Client Services for Royal Trust. In 1995, Mark joined the Bank of Montreal as Senior Investment Manager and was accountable for establishing and growing the discretionary investment management business in British Columbia. Prior to joining Hybridge Mark was Regional Manager, Private Client Group, Western Canada for HSBC Asset Management. Mark holds a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies and is a CFA charterholder.
Chris Fisher
Research Analyst
Chris started his investment career in 1989 on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. He has obtained broad investment experience working for CIBC Wood Gundy and CIBC Trust in the areas of market research, bond lending, financial report preparation, and investment management. Prior to joining Hybridge he was engaged in institutional sales and trading with Research Capital Corp. At Hybridge he is responsible for all aspects of securities trading and client reporting. Additionally he provides in-house research assistance to the rest of the team. He has passed Level 1 of the CFA examination.
